Technical Lead
Community Engine is an Australian owned company providing social media, membership management and community engagement technology, products and services to all types of organisations including business, government and the not-for-profit sectors. We're in the process of designing the next generation of our social networking platform and with increased customer demand we're looking for outstanding talent to join our team in Sydney's Northern Beaches (Brookvale). We are looking for a Technical Lead to join our team.
About You:
- Embrace Microsoft standards, patterns and practices
- Love social and community web applications
- Want to work with the latest .Net technology
- Have 5+ years experience with ASP.NET web applications
- Believe that development is a highly creative process
- Believe that user-experience is what it's all about
- Maintain your knowledge by following Microsoft and industry blogs, podcasts and whitepapers
- Read technical journals thoroughly, gaining a deep understanding of the technologies and how to apply them
About the Role:
- ASP.NET C# and .NET Framework 3.5
- WCF & MVC
- LINQ to SQL and/or LINQ to Entity
- CMS experience (Kentico, SiteCore and others, but nothing crappy like DNN)
- SQL Server 2005 and/or 2008
- JavaScript, JQuery & JSON
- Microsoft Visual Studio including Team System
- AJAX
- Semantically amazing X/HTML & CSS
- W3C web standards and WCAG accessibility standards
