Community Engine Appoints Access Public Relations

PRESS RELEASE

Access Public Relations has been appointed by social networking and community engagement technology company Community Engine to handle its launch and ongoing B2B public relations requirements after a three-way pitch.

Established two years ago, Community Engine was born out of the need to connect communities online with technology that is designed to make those connections easy, affordable and mutually beneficial.

The company builds world-class web platforms that connect people together and helps organisations to develop communities and grow their business. This can be in the form of connecting businesses to their customers, associations to their members, politicians to their constituents, management to their staff or people to their communities.

Access Public Relations managing partner, Rochelle Burbury said: “Community Engine brings a unique technology platform to the market, that will help achieve what business has been grappling with for some time – harnessing social media to their benefit.”

Community Engine managing director, Piers Hogarth-Scott added: “Think of us as Ikea meets IBM meets Apple. We’ve ‘flat packed’ the Internet in an innovative way to help organisations increase revenue, reduce costs and improve stakeholder satisfaction. Our people friendly technology facilitates connections with all communities by democratising the benefits of social networking and the wisdom of the crowds.”

“In the next year, marketing and PR will be a big focus for our company, so we’re very excited to have Access PR onboard to help us achieve our goals.”

Community Engine’s growing client base includes Qantas, New South Wales Government, Mortgage & Finance Association of Australia, Events New South Wales, the Australia Council for the Arts, the ACTU and Australia’s largest community radio licensee, FBi Radio.
