Test Analyst

Community Engine is an Australian owned software company that is building the next generation of Social Media products.  With strong demand for a number of exciting new products, Community Engine is growing.  We are looking for a Test Analyst to come on board and join our team.  The role is to ensure a high quality of Community Engine projects throughout development. This is a newly created role that will suit someone looking to be an integral part of a dynamic company and help to take it to the next level of its evolution.  The role is located at Community Engine’s head office in the Northern Beaches of Sydney (Brookvale).  It is a permanent role with an immediate start.

About You

Essential

  • An experienced Test Analyst who is able to work in both an agile and waterfall capacity
  • Extensive knowledge and demonstrated experience in executing testing strategies for both large and small IT projects involving multiple stakeholders
  • Extensive experience in developing and executing test plans, cases and data for web based information systems including Intranet, Internet and Web services applications
  • Knowledge and demonstrated experience in writing automated test scripts
  • Knowledge of Microsoft’s .NET systems development environment
  • Experience in developing and executing performance tests
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with minimal supervision, both individually and as a team member
  • Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality documentation
  • Highly developed written and oral communication skills
  • Attention to detail

Desirable

  • Experience in testing systems developed and implemented using the Agile/scrum methodology in a TFS (Team Foundation Server) environment
  • Experience with load testing
  • Experience with testing Content Management Systems
  • Experience of automation testing using Selenium
  • Experience with Security testing
  • Knowledge of Web accessibility standards and guidelines (W3C)
